AhsayOBM: 22.214.171.124 - 126.96.36.199
When performing a VMware guest VM backup in VDDK mode on VMware vCenter / ESXi, the following error message is received in the backup report:
Fail to connect VM disk by VDDK library" error: "VDDK Mode Error Virtual Machine = "VM/Hard disk" Reason =
"Fail to connect VM disk by VDDK library". Error=Unknown
This issue occurs because the VMware VDDK 7 API used in AhsayOBM version 188.8.131.52 - 184.108.40.206 are not supported by VMware vCenter / ESXi for backup in VDDK mode.
To resolve the issue, patch the AhsayOBM application to version 8.5 or above. The instructions can be found by
Important: It is highly recommended for user to upgrade the AhsayOBM application to 8.5 or above.
