[V9] ISSUE: Backup Source cannot include the location for storing the system backup (MS Windows System backup)

Problem Description

When creating a MS Windows System backup set, the following error message is displayed on the backup client interface:

Backup Source cannot include the location for storing the system backup

Temp Location

Cause

The message suggests the temporary storage location is invalid.

It is a requirement of Windows Backup Feature (WBAdmin.exe) that the volume selected for storage must be different than the volume selected for backup. In other words, you cannot configure a backup of C:\ and have the temporary storage location configured to C:\ as well.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, select another volume for the temporary location of the system backup.
