[V7] ISSUE: The SQL Server VSS Writer service does not exist as an installed service (cannot create MS SQL database backup set on non-English Windows)

Problem Description

When creating a MS SQL database backup set on a Windows server set to a non-English system locale, the following error message is received in the AhsayOBM console:

The SQL Server VSS Writer service does not exist as an installed service

Cause

This is a known issue with AhsayOBM version 7.3.2.0.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, patch the AhsayOBM application to version 7.5.0.0 or above. The instructions can be found by Clicking Here.
