Problem Description

When performing a Hyper-V VM backup, the following error message is displayed on the backup client interface, or in the backup report:

Note: This issue will only affect Hyper-V VM with Hyper-V Replication enabled.

The error message displayed for AhsayOBM version pre-7.15.6.55 and 7.15.6.55 or above are different.

Cause

This issue can occur if the Hyper-V Replication is enabled for the virtual machine selected for backup.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, disable the replication for the virtual machine selected for backup.  Click Here for instruction.
