Problem Description

When performing a backup of any type, the following error message is received in the backup report:

* erro YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss Insufficient disk space available for temporary directory temp_path\backupset_id\OBS@id.
Required free space at least: 100MB
* ... ... ...
Note:
The backup job will fail with status Error interrupted, and the error message will be displayed even if the data to be backed up is less than 100 MB.

Cause

The messages suggests that the temporary directory for storing backup files has less than 100 MB free disk space available. 100 MB free disk space is the absolute minimum size required.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, configure the temporary directory for storing backup files to another location with at least 100 MB free disk space.

For example, volume F only has 66 MB of free disk space.
