Steps:
This document contains instruction on how to migrate AhsayOBS installation to another volume.
Assumption:
You want to move the AhsayOBS server from:
C:\Programs Files\AhsayOBS and AhsayRPS
to
D:\Programs Files\AhsayOBS and AhsayRPS
Instruction:
Refer to the following steps:
- Shutdown the AhsayOBS service by:
[Control Panel] > [Administrative Tools] > [Services] > [Ahsay Offsite Backup Server and Replication Server] - Open an administrative command prompt.
- Remove the existing AhsayOBS Windows service by navigating to the directory ${Old-InstallationHome}\bin, and enter the following command:
AobService -r OBSRService
- Copy all folders and files under ${Old-InstallationHome} to ${New-InstallationHome}, for example:
C:\Programs Files\AhsayOBS and AhsayRPS\*
to
D:\Programs Files\AhsayOBS and AhsayRPS\* - Open a file called 'obs.xml' found within the '${New-Installation Home}\conf' directory with a text editor:

AobService -i "Your_New_Service_Name" "${New-Installation Home}\bin\AobService.exe"
- Startup the AhsayOBS service by:
[Control Panel] > [Administrative Tools] > [Services] > [Your_New_Service_Name]
