ISSUE: Backup failed to run space free up of destination. Error: Log is corrupted. Error=null, caused by [NullPointerException] null

Problem Description

When performing a backup of any type with the option Run Retention Policy after backup enabled, the following error message is received in the backup report:

* ... ... ...
* erro YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss Failed to run space free up of destination "destination (destination_id)".
Error: "[bW][AbstractLogFile.ParseExpt][] Line x of
'directory_path\.obm\statistics\Usage\YYYY-MM-DD.log' is corrupted. Error=null,
caused by [NullPointerException] null"

The error message suggests that one of the backup client statistic log is corrupted.
