Problem Description
When performing a Hyper-V VM restore with the Run Direct option enabled, the following error message is displayed on the backup client interface:
In order to use the Run Direct feature, please install the "Microsoft Security Advisory 3033929" security update.
Cause
This issue can occur if the "Microsoft Security Advisory 3033929" security update has not been installed on the Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V server which the restore is being performed on.
Resolution:
To resolve the issue, install the "Microsoft Security Advisory 3033929" security update on the Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V server which the restore is being performed on.
