OS: All platforms ===== Problem Description ===== After AhsayCBS is upgraded to version 8.5.0.63, all AhsayOBM and AhsayACB clients running on version 8.3.2.x are unable to connect.

The following error message is shown in AhsayOBM\AhsayACB in debug mode:

As a result:

  1. All scheduled and continuous backup jobs on AhsayOBM / ACB will not run and will be logged as missed backups.
  2. Cannot login to AhsayOBM / ACB clients.
Note:
The Auto Upgrade for the AhsayOBM / ACB version 8.3.2.x to 8.5.0.63 are not affected, as long as the AhsayOBM / ACB user interface is closed. ===== Cause ===== This is a known issue with the connection handling routine specific to AhsayOBM / ACB version 8.3.2.x. ===== Resolution ===== There are two options to resolve this issue:
